ESPLANADE CLARK, MONTREAL

A four-season public square, including an urban terrace that turns into an ice-skating rink during the winter, has been built on this vacant lot located between Rue Sainte-Catherine Ouest and Boulevard De Maisonneuve, in front of the Maison du développement durable.

In the summer, a large urban terrace, vegetation, and food stands occupy most of the 5,000-square-meter site. From November to March, this space is turned into a refrigerated skating rink, larger than The Rink at Rockefeller Center in New York.

To complete this urban space, Bolduc Avenue pavers were installed.
